KRATISTOS WATCHES
Most watches show the time, but only a few show who you are. A historical figure of international acclaim was the source of inspiration. The choice was obvious! Not many people have been worthy of the tile “Great” attached to their name in every language. Even fewer have been hailed as undisputed military geniuses, recognized for their insights and a forward-thinking notion of “internationalization”.
Invincible throughout his entire life, he was considered a god, worshipped while still alive, and became a legend at death, leaving an eternal legacy that changed the world forever. Alexander the Great, a historical figural still wildly revered and admired to more than half of the world’s population. Therefore, an interesting idea came up: what if Alexander would live in the present time and asked me to create a watch just for him? What if he wanted me to use my 30-year professional experience to create something that reflects his personality, combined with the qualities of the modern leader?
The challenge is how to override standard business procedures and create something completely new and innovative, something that nobody has thought of until now. Through thorough study and creative design, I feel that I managed to complete the challenge I undertook with so much passion. I created:
Uniqueness
The strongest element of the watch is the way the leather strap is incorporated in the case. For the first time, the four lugs of the case serve not just a functional purpose but assume a decorative and emblematic role. Four male lion’s fangs give this watch its unique character. The lion fangs are incorporated in a way that immediately alludes to the lion-watch “grasping” the wrist. This type of luxurious grasping is translated into a perfect fit and ideal functionality, as the fangs restrict the case from rolling on the wrist.

Limited number of watches
Each model comes in a limited number of watches, only 323 pieces. Why was this number selected? To mark Alexander's the Great death, on 10/11 June 323 B.C. in Babylon. The limited edition number is engraved at the back of the case.
The straps
Kratistos is a watch that can be personalized according to the strap you choose. You can combine each of the 4 cases with different texture and color "easy to change" straps, to create your own ideal combination, according to your personality and taste. The strap is made in France and it is available in two types of genuine leather. The smooth (Vintage) edition comes in 3 colors. The Ostrich edition comes in 7 colors. All straps are available in 3 sizes to accommodate different wrist sizes.
