The tortoise was the cause for the creation of feng shui. By its very design, it is a survivor. It has the ability to protect itself against harsh preditors. As a symbol of longevity, stability and wisdom, but also persistence, wealth and protection, it plays a fundamental role in many ancient civilizations’ mythologies and everyday traditions.
